Role Overview
Khidmah is seeking a Senior Estimation & Procurement Engineer in Facilities Management to oversee end-to-end bidding, pricing, and vendor sourcing under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimation & Bidding: Review comprehensive tender documents (RFPs, BOQs, technical drawings, SLAs, and KPIs) to prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing schedules, commercial reports, and formal submissions. Support pre-bid meetings, site visits, value engineering, and post-tender clarifications.
- Procurement & Negotiation: Issue RFQs, evaluate quotes for materials, equipment, and subcontracts, and negotiate prices, scopes of work, and delivery timelines to secure competitive commercial value.
- Project Mobilization & Operations: Manage operational readiness for winning contracts by organizing manpower, materials, equipment, and logistics to ensure smooth project commencement.
- Risk & Governance: Identify commercial/operational risks during bidding, document qualifications and exclusions, maintain pricing models and trackers for audit trails, and strictly adhere to HSE and Information Security standards.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in the Facilities Management industry, with at least 3 to 5 years directly focused on Estimation & Procurement.
- Core Competencies: Expertise in FM operations, commercial risk assessment, contract documentation, and multi-tender management under strict timelines.
