We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Estimator Aluminium & Glazing with strong expertise in structural glazing systems and aluminium works. The ideal candidate will have excellent drawing interpretation skills and the ability to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on aluminium profile dimensions and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for aluminium, glazing, and structural glazing systems
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project requirements
- Calculate material quantities based on aluminium profile dimensions, glass types, hardware, and accessories
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing breakdowns
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and perform cost comparisons
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams for technical clarifications
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and specifications
- Support tender submissions, revisions, and value engineering exercises
Key Requirements
- 35 years of experience in aluminium and glazing estimation
- Strong knowledge of structural glazing systems and faade-related works
- Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Proficient in preparing quantity take-offs and detailed costing
- Familiarity with aluminium profiles, glass specifications, and accessories
- Good analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong coordination and communication skills
