Hiring an Estimation engineer
Role Description
This is a full-time Estimator role located on-site in Dubai. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project requirements, blueprints, technical specifications, and other materials. The role includes collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and suppliers to gather information, evaluating risks, and ensuring competitive bid submissions. Additionally, the Estimator will monitor budgeting, manage project costs, and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in estimating processes, cost analysis, and project planning
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for project budgeting and financial forecasts
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans
- Experience with construction estimation software and tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with various teams and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and market trends is an advantage
