Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Estimator role for MBK Marine, based in Abu Dhabi. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, developing cost estimates for Ship Repairs and structural fabrication projects, and preparing relevant bids and proposals. Other responsibilities include conducting material take-offs, collaborating with project teams, analyzing drawings and technical documentation, and maintaining cost databases with attention to accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost estimation, project costing, and preparation of project tenders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analyzing technical drawings
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers
• Proven ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in estimating processes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• Experience in the marine, oil and gas, or industrial sector is highly desirable
• Strong proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and estimation tools
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; multilingual proficiency is an advantage
