Job Description & Summary
- Lead the design and development of end-to-endcloudarchitectures on theOracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing systems, and propose innovativecloudsolutions that meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs, technical specifications, and migration strategies forcloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight during the implementation phase, working closely with engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural best practices andCloudstandards.
- Define and enforcecloudgovernance frameworks, security controls, and compliance measures withinCloudenvironments.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency ofCloudsolutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends incloudcomputing, evaluating their potential application within the organization'scloudstrategy.
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert, contributing to the development of best practices, standards, and methodologies related toCloud.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or in a comparable role is required, emphasizing expertise in designing and implementing solutions.
- Strong proficiency inOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)services such as Compute, Database Services, CloudStorage,CloudNetworking, IAM, etc.
- Experience with Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, and proficiency in managing and migrating both on-premises and cloud-based Oracle Database environments.
- Proven track record in architecting complex, scalable, and highly availablecloudsolutions while adhering to security and compliance standards.
- Deep understanding ofcloudarchitecture principles, microservices, serverless computing, containerization, and hybridcloudenvironments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Cloud Professionalcertifications. OCI certification is a plus.
