Job Description & Summary
The ServiceNow Manager is accountable for leading ServiceNow platform strategy, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment with business goals while promoting best practices across all ServiceNow projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-endServiceNowimplementation and enhancement projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Manage and mentor a team ofServiceNowdevelopers and administrators, ensuring skills development and career growth.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of custom applications and modules on theServiceNowplatform.
  • Configure and implement workflows, forms, business rules, and client/server scripts using JavaScript.
  • Provide architectural guidance and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive integration ofServiceNowwith external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.
  • Plan and manageServiceNowupgrade and enhancement cycles.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, risks, and delivery challenges.
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of working experience inServiceNowdevelopment and implementation.
  • 3+ years in a leadership ormanagerial role overseeingServiceNowprojects and teams.
  • ServiceNowCertified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • ServiceNowCertified Application Developer (CAD) required.
  • ServiceNowITSM Certification preferred.
  • Experience managing multipleServiceNowprojects simultaneously.
Required Skills
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
  • Proficient in JavaScript for client-side and server-side scripting within theServiceNowplatform.
  • Skilled in building custom applications and workflows across modules.
  • Deep understanding of REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading delivery in an iterative environment.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, REST.
  • Skilled in using theServiceNowApp Developer tooling.
Preferred Skills
  • In-depth knowledge ofServiceNowITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
  • Experience with Service Catalog, CMDB, and automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code development onServiceNowApp Engine.
  • Exposure toServiceNowFlow Designer.
  • Understanding of Performance Analytics and IntegrationHub.
