Job Description

Role Overview

  • As an Event & Catering Lead, you will play a key role in elevating our clients experience at every touchpoint through thoughtfully-planned and flawlessly executed events.
  • Based within our passionate F&B team in Dubai, you'll work at events throughout Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring the set-up, service, and small-scale food preparations consistently delight our guests.
  • Your positive attitude, attention to detail, and sincere commitment to customer happiness will set you apart as the face of our event operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end event and catering operations including set-up, food and beverage preparation, and guest service.
  • Support basic food preparation such as blending smoothies, juices, and assembly of grab-and-go menu items.
  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and food safety throughout all event stages.
  • Train and supervise event staff, ensuring an uplifting and collaborative working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to deliver tailored and memorable events.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues swiftly and professionally to ensure seamless event experiences.
  • Monitor inventory, manage event supplies, and liaise with vendors as necessary.

Must have requirements

  • Previous experience in event operations, catering, or hospitality within food and beverage settings.
  • Comfortable with hands-on food prep such as blending smoothies, juices, and assembling light menu items.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation with a genuine desire to make people happy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, energetic, with the ability to stay organized under pressure.
  • Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and evenings as required for events.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have requirements

  • Basic barista or mixology skills.
  • Experience leading small teams in high-volume event environments.
  • Familiarity with food safety certifications (e.g., BFHT).
  • Knowledge of local F&B trends or wellness-oriented menu items.
  • Ability to speak additional languages relevant to the region.
