We are seeking an experienced Event Director based in Riyadh with strong connections within the technology industry. The ideal candidate will bring established client relationships, a deep understanding of the local market environment and ongoing developments, and a strong grasp of the latest trends and technologies shaping the events industry. This role combines business development, client engagement, and project support, and reports directly to the Managing Director of the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the Saudi technology ecosystem, including corporates, startups, and key stakeholders
- Proactively reach out to clients to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and respond to RFPs, including strategy, pricing coordination, and content development
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to technology-focused clients
- Lead client pitches and support negotiations to secure projects
- Support the successful delivery and close-out of projects in collaboration with internal teams
- Stay informed on the latest event technologies, digital platforms, and industry trends
- Provide regular updates and reporting to the Managing Director
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior events role, preferably withintechnology-driven events
- Strong professional network within theSaudi technology industry
- In-depth understanding of the Saudi market, regulatory environment, and development landscape
- Strong knowledge of emerging event technologies and innovation trends
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
- Based inRiyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Saudi National preferred
