Role Overview

As Event Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery, planning, coordination and delivery of Lunate's events and sponsorship programme, while supporting broader internal and external communications initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role is largely events- focusedand will involve supporting owned events, internal events, thirdparty conferences, leadership engagements, and sponsorship activations both locally and globally. The role also contributes to internal communications, content development, social media with a strong emphasis on using events as strategic communications and engagement moments.

Key Accountabilities

Events & Sponsorships (Primary Focus)

  • Coordinate and support the endtoend delivery of owned events, internal events thirdparty conferences, and sponsorship activations.
  • Assist with event planning including timelines, agendas, guest lists, runofshow documents, speaker coordination, and event materials.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external partners, venues, agencies, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide onsite and virtual event support, including logistics, speaker management, registration, and postevent followup.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of event activity, outcomes, and learnings to inform future planning.
  • Ensure all events are delivered in line with brand guidelines, messaging, and reputational standards.

Internal Communications

  • Assist in preparing internal updates and announcements related to events, leadership participation, and key milestones.
  • Support the creation of content for the company intranet and employee engagement initiatives, including eventdriven communications.
  • Development and build out of the company intranet

Social Media & Event Amplification

  • Work with internal teams, news flow, and agencies to develop impactful and engaging social media content, with a strong focus on event promotion, live coverage, and postevent storytelling.
  • Support the amplification of events across digital and social channels before, during, and after delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand tone and messaging.

Media & Team Support

  • Assist with preparing pr briefing materials linked to events, speaking opportunities or press announcements where required.
  • Support media monitoring and reporting, particularly around major events and sponsorships.
  • Maintain communications databases, event calendars, subscriptions, shared folders, and reporting tools.
  • Provide general coordination and operational support across the Communications team with vendors and other parties

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field.
  • c. 5 years experience in communications, events, PR, or marketing, with demonstrable event coordination or management experience, ideally within financial services industry,
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative working style.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools.
