An exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working across some of the UAE's major festivals & events.
Securing and nurturing commercial sponsorships for our flagship consumer festivals, the ideal candidate is self-starting, motivated, well-organized and has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets for the company's portfolio of events.
- Responsible for revenue generation through the direct sales team who sell exhibition stands and sponsorship packages for events to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Sell exhibition space and sponsorship following set targets to ensure the revenue budget is achieved and exceeded.
- Develop long-term account relationships through regular calls and visits, offering information on the customer's sector and sending information.
- Present the benefits of events to large groups of potential exhibitors.
- Actively network with trade associations and other third parties.
- Actively seek new customers from all relevant sources including trade press, competitors and other like-minded events, thus increasing sponsorship revenue and developing emerging markets/product areas.
- Monitor sales figures and report on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the show and sponsorships.
- Understand and manage the event sales budgets.
- Involvement with invoicing and collections to ensure payments are made in line with the contracts.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of exhibition sales experience in the UAE
- Proven track record with sales and sponsorship delivery within the UAE
- Understanding of sales budget/forecasting
- Proficient with SalesForce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship management
- Ability to drive to Abu Dhabi office

- Salary + commission-based role
- Candidates must be able to work in-person in our Abu Dhabi office, and travel to Dubai when required
