Job Title: Event Sales Specialist

Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Director Location: [Riyadh, Saudi Arabia]

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Event Sales Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the events industry and a proven track record in B2B sales. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and selling our exhibition stand design and construction services to companies participating in trade shows and events. Your goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and prospect new clients (exhibitors, agencies, and corporate entities) who require exhibition stands and event setups.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from initial inquiry and needs assessment to proposal presentation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPI's.

2. Client Consultation & Account Management:

  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients, understanding their brand objectives, budget, and specific event requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Design and Production teams to prepare accurate quotations, 3D visuals, and proposals that align with client visions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Up sell additional services (audiovisual equipment, furniture rental, logistics) where applicable.

3. Market Intelligence:

  • Stay updated on upcoming exhibitions, trade shows, and industry trends within the region.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market pricing to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Represent Stand Expo at industry events and networking functions to promote brand visibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the events, exhibitions, interior design, or media production industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong B2B selling skills with a track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or floor plans (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in CRM software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, resilient, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
