About the Role

700 Padel & Fitness Hub is looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused *Events & Front of House Manager* to oversee our daily front-of-house operations while planning and delivering exceptional events.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about creating outstanding customer experiences. You will lead the reception team, coordinate events from start to finish, and ensure smooth communication across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House Operations

* Lead and manage the reception and front-of-house team.

* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high service standards.

* Oversee bookings, memberships, payments, packages, and customer accounts.

* Ensure all transactions, discounts, complimentary bookings, refunds, and cash handling are accurately processed.

* Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

* Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate reception coverage.

* Train, mentor, and evaluate front-of-house staff.

* Monitor calls, WhatsApp, emails, and booking enquiries to ensure prompt responses.

* Coordinate daily operations with coaches, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, and management.

* Maintain accurate daily reports, cash reconciliations, and shift handovers.

Events Management

* Plan and deliver padel tournaments, corporate events, private functions, community events, activations, and group bookings.

* Manage events from initial enquiry through quotation, confirmation, execution, and post-event follow-up.

* Prepare event proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and operational requirements.

* Coordinate courts, coaches, catering, equipment, branding, entertainment, and external suppliers.

* Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with 700's service standards.

* Build relationships with corporate clients, schools, community groups, and strategic partners to drive event bookings.

* Monitor event attendance, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

* Identify opportunities to improve event offerings, pricing, and profitability.

* Ensure all event agreements and payments are completed before the event.

* Prepare post-event reports and performance summaries for management.

Leadership

* Lead by example and foster a positive, professional, and results-driven culture.

* Set clear expectations and performance standards for the team.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and grooming standards.

* Address performance issues, attendance, and conduct promptly and professionally.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Event revenue and number of confirmed bookings.

* Customer satisfaction and service quality.

* Event attendance and booking conversion.

* Accuracy of bookings, memberships, payments, and reporting.

* Front-of-house response times.

* Staff performance, attendance, and SOP compliance.

* Growth in corporate, community, and repeat event bookings.

Requirements

* Minimum *3 years experience* in events, hospitality, sports clubs, fitness facilities, or front-of-house management.

* Proven experience leading a reception or customer service team.

* Strong event planning and operational coordination skills.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, booking systems, WhatsApp, and reporting tools.

* Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Preferred Profile

* Professional, confident, and customer-focused.

* Commercially minded with experience selling event packages.

* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

* Comfortable managing customers, staff, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.

* Experience within the padel, sports, fitness, hospitality, or entertainment industry is highly desirable.
