Role overviewThe Events Lead is fully accountable for the conception, planning, production, and execution of Conquista-led and client-led events worldwide.
This is an operator role. You will take events from concept to delivery: ideation, planning, budgeting, vendor management, partnerships, on-site execution, and post-event analysis. Partnerships and light business development are part of the role, always in service of event outcomes.
You'll work closely with Laura Estefana, Founder & CEO, and the core team to ensure events are strategically aligned, commercially smart, and flawlessly executed.
Key responsibilities- Own the full lifecycle of events: concept, strategy, planning, production, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Design and deliver high-impact formats including private dinners, roundtables, breakfasts, side events, and flagship activations.
- Manage budgets, timelines, run-of-show documents, and all vendors (venues, catering, AV, production, branding).
- Lead on-site execution and real-time problem-solving during events.
- Identify and manage strategic partners, co-hosts, and sponsors.
- Support client event strategies and act as a trusted execution partner.
- Represent Conquista at major conferences and industry gatherings.
- Track event performance and continuously refine event playbooks.
What we are looking for- 5+ years experience in event production, partnerships, or strategic events within finance, digital assets, crypto, fintech, or tech.
- Proven experience delivering complex events end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of the digital assets and financial infrastructure ecosystem.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
- Commercially minded with experience managing sponsors and partners.
- Calm under pressure with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working remotely with frequent international travel.
What the role is not- Not a junior coordinator role.
- Not a marketing or PR role, but understanding of it will be needed.
- Not a quota-carrying sales position.
