Job Overview:

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of live events at ZSC venues. The Events Manager will oversee the event calendar, manage vendor relationships, and lead the execution of events, ensuring seamless experiences for clients and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

Event Strategy, Planning & Calendar Management

  • Oversee and manage the event calendar, ensuring alignment with venue goals and commercial targets.
  • Work closely with the events team to support event acquisition, contract negotiation, and pipeline management.
  • Develop and execute detailed event plans, including logistics, resource allocation, and contingency strategies.

Event Operations & Delivery

  • Lead the execution of events from start to finish, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to ensure the proper setup and flawless event execution.
  • Monitor on-site event activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Budget & Financial Management

  • Managing event budgets and tracking expenditure.
  • Contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Conduct post-event financial reconciliations and assist with event cost reporting.

Stakeholder & Client Relations

  • Serve as a liaison between clients, internal departments, and external vendors, ensuring event expectations and requirements are met.
  • Address client concerns, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure that all events comply with local laws, venue policies, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, including contracts, risk assessments, and operational plans.

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Work cross-functionally with different departments to ensure seamless event delivery.

Qualification and Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Certification in Event Management is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in event management, with proven expertise in coordinating large-scale events.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relations, and event logistics.
  • Experience working in a multi-venue environment
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong understanding of event planning processes, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues during events and deliver solutions efficiently.
  • Leadership abilities to manage on-site event teams and coordinate staff effectively.
  • Client-focused with a strong customer service orientation.
