Role Overview
Blacktape is hiring aClient Acquisition Directorwhose primary mandate is clear:
Bring clients into Blacktape.
This role is 100% focused on revenue generation through existing relationships and established corporate connections. The ideal candidate already has an active network of decision-makers and can immediately open doors across:
- Events & Experiential
- ATL Marketing
- Digital Marketing & Ecosystems
This is not a cold-calling role. It is a high-level acquisition position for someone with proven access to corporate budgets.
Core Responsibility
Acquire and close new clients for Blacktape across Events and Marketing (Digital + ATL).
Success in this role is measured by:
- Revenue brought in
- Accounts secured
- Long-term mandates signed
What We Are Looking For1. Existing Corporate Network (Mandatory)
- Established relationships with Marketing Directors, Brand Managers, and Procurement Heads
- Ability to bring active accounts into Blacktape within the first 90 days
- Direct access to decision-makers across FMCG, Telecom, Real Estate, Banking, Entertainment, or Government sectors
2. Revenue-Driven Mindset
- Proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals
- Experience securing event mandates, campaign retainers, or annual marketing contracts
- Strong negotiation and commercial structuring ability
3. Industry Experience
- 7+ years in business development, commercial leadership, or client acquisition within:
- Event agencies
- Marketing agencies
- Advertising firms
- Experiential production companies
Key Duties
- Leverage personal network to secure immediate business opportunities
- Introduce and position Blacktape to new corporate accounts
- Lead commercial negotiations and close deals
- Coordinate internally to ensure successful execution and retention
- Build long-term recurring revenue relationships
Performance Expectations
- First client introductions within first 3060 days
- Closed deals within first 90 days
- Structured acquisition pipeline under management
- Continuous revenue growth across Events and Marketing divisions
