Job Description

The Production Specialist supports the production team in planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of production. Leveraging prior experience as a Director's Assistant, this role ensures smooth workflow, effective communication between departments, and high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing schedules, resources, and production logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production schedules, ensuring timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

  • Assist in planning and executing production projects, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.

  • Book the studio for the shooting day and take full responsibility for the entire production day.

  • Source models and direct them during the shoot.

  • Communicate with all stakeholders on the day of the shoot to ensure smooth operations.

  • Serve as a liaison between directors, producers, and production teams to ensure seamless communication.

  • Manage day-to-day administrative and operational tasks within the production department.

  • Oversee equipment, materials, and studio or location requirements to guarantee smooth production operations.

  • Prepare reports, documentation, and production notes for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support problem-solving on set and ensure production runs on schedule.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure final outputs meet company standards.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Director's Assistant or similar role in production environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Film, Directing, or any related field.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Knowledge of Direction processes, equipment, and industry best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience in film, media, or creative production environments.

  • Ability to anticipate production needs and proactively solve issues
