Execution Specialist Grains Trading

Cairo 3A is looking for an Execution Specialist to join its Grain Trading team, supporting sales operations for the purchase and ocean shipment of grains. This role owns the execution side of the trade cycle — from contract follow-up through vessel chartering coordination to shipment completion — ensuring every transaction is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute and follow up on grain purchase contracts, ensuring terms are accurately reflected and fulfilled end-to-end.
• Support vessel chartering activities: liaising with ship brokers and owners, tracking nominations, and loading schedules.
• Monitor shipment execution from contract to delivery, coordinating with suppliers, shipping agents, surveyors, and internal teams.
• Ensure all shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Quality/Weight Certificates, Letters of Credit) complies with contract terms and the relevant Incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF, etc.).
• Track and reconcile shipment quantities, laytime, and demurrage/dispatch calculations.
• Maintain accurate contract, shipment, and vessel-position trackers in Excel.
• Liaise with Finance, Logistics, and Quality teams to keep trade execution running smoothly.
• Prepare regular status reports on shipments, contract performance, and market updates.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in chartering, grain/commodity trading operations, or shipping, with solid exposure to trading principles and Incoterms.
• Strong working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF, etc.) and standard trading/chartering documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data tracking).
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple live shipments at once.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven trading environment.
