Executive Director Fixed Income

A leading investment organisation in the UAE is looking to appoint an Executive Director – Fixed Income to lead the management and implementation of its Fixed Income investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Fixed Income portfolios across sovereign bonds, corporate credit, structured products and other debt instruments.
• Lead portfolio construction, investment selection, trade execution and ongoing risk monitoring.
• Assess market developments, interest rates, credit conditions and macroeconomic trends to support investment decisions.
• Identify and evaluate Direct Investment and Private Credit opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, issuers, sponsors and other market participants.
• Leverage an established UAE/GCC network to source investment and credit opportunities.
• Prepare investment papers, credit notes, portfolio reports and materials for senior management/investment committees.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations to ensure effective governance and execution.
• Monitor portfolio performance, exposures and adherence to investment guidelines.
• Support the development of junior members within the Fixed Income team.

Ideal Profile

• Senior investment professional with strong experience across Fixed Income and Credit.
• Must be an Emirati.
• Proven portfolio management and investment execution experience.
• Strong understanding of sovereign and corporate credit markets.
• Experience in Private Credit / Direct Investments is highly desirable.
• Strong network across the UAE/GCC investment and financial markets.
• Exposure to Shariah-compliant investments would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
