Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the organization's enterprise-wide partnerships and strategic alignment strategy to advance institutional priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Manage and oversee strategic growth, partnership development, sponsorship, philanthropy, and institutional advancement activities to generate strategic value, strengthen external positioning, and support financial sustainability.
  • Direct the organization's strategic alignment and government engagement agenda to support alignment with development priorities and strengthen relationships with ministries, diplomatic entities, and public-sector stakeholders.
  • Establish partnership governance, stakeholder engagement frameworks, operating models, and performance measures to ensure consistent, effective, and accountable partnership management across the organization.
  • Advise executive leadership on high-value partnership opportunities, stakeholder risks, sponsorship and fundraising priorities, and strategic relationship management to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with business units and corporate functions, including Strategy, Finance, Legal, Communications, Government Affairs, and Human Capital, to ensure partnership activities are aligned, compliant, and deliver measurable value.
  • Represent the organization in senior-level local, regional, and international engagements to strengthen institutional visibility, cultivate high-value relationships, and promote the organization's mission and impact.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Partnerships and Strategic Alignment team, ensuring effective supervision, capability development, knowledge management, and continuity of key operations.
  • Assume responsibility for risk management, compliance, reporting, stakeholder intelligence, and continuous improvement across the function.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Public Policy, Strategy, Leadership, or a relevant field.
  • 8 years of relevant full-time experience, 5 of which at a senior supervisory level in strategic partnerships, institutional advancement, sponsorship, philanthropy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, or business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and influence senior internal and external stakeholders across government, corporate, academic, philanthropic, and international sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Qatar, GCC, and international partnership landscapes, including public-private collaboration, philanthropy, fundraising, sponsorship, and strategic relationship management.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and applicable collaboration, reporting, CRM, and knowledge-management tools.

  • Excellent communications and writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
