Executive Pastry Chef Fresh Food Market

Location: 6th October, Egypt

Fresh Food Market is looking for an exceptional Executive Pastry Chef to lead and elevate all dessert production.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a chef who is classically trained in French pastry, deeply passionate about craft, precision, and flavor, and excited to build and scale a premium dessert program within a fast-growing, design-driven food market concept.

The Role

As Executive Pastry Chef, you will be fully responsible for the creation, quality, consistency, and innovation of all desserts produced at Fresh Food Market. You will oversee everything from recipe development to execution, ensuring our pastry and dessert offering meets the highest international standards while remaining commercially scalable.

You will work closely with senior management and production teams to define the dessert identity of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all dessert production across Fresh Food Market
  • Develop, standardize, and continuously refine recipes for:
  • French ptisserie
  • Modern desserts
  • Seasonal and signature items
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all locations
  • Train, mentor, and manage pastry teams
  • Optimize production processes for scale without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement on sourcing, costing, and efficiency
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and quality control standards
  • Contribute creatively to new product launches and concept development

Profile We're Looking For

  • French pastrytrained (formal education or equivalent high-level experience)
  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Executive Pastry Chef
  • Strong bakery knowledge is a major plus (viennoiserie, doughs, fermentation, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of large-scale production and consistency
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-obsessed
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience working in premium, artisanal, or high-end food concepts
