Job Purpose

Support the secure and efficient management of the organisation's Identity and Access Management (IAM) services by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, administering the joiner–mover–leaver (JML) lifecycle, monitoring system activities, facilitating periodic access reviews, and supporting the onboarding and integration of new systems. The incumbent is expected to develop a strong understanding of the organisation's identity and access management framework and apply this knowledge to effectively support current and future IAM platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily discovery and provisioning logs; action exceptions and resolve failures.
  • Execute and verify offboarding / deprovisioning; support joiner and mover events.
  • Coordinate and follow up on access reviews / recertifications to completion.
  • Support requirement gathering and test integrations end to end for new systems.
  • Read logs, troubleshoot, and trace issues across connected systems.
  • Communicate clearly with HR and end users; document procedures and runbooks.
Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–5 years in IAM operations, identity administration, or IT security operations.
  • Strong candidates with adjacent experience and clear IAM aptitude will also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one IAM / IGA or access platform
  • Experience operating within ITSM / ticketing workflows and meeting defined SLAs.
  • Exposure to access governance, audit, or compliance activities is an advantage.
Skills

  • Sound understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, including Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) lifecycle, user provisioning and deprovisioning, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), access certification, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Working knowledge of identity services and directory technologies, such as LDAP, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Understanding of system integration concepts, including identity provisioning, authentication, and access management workflows across enterprise applications.
  • Ability to test and validate IAM integrations, provisioning processes, and access workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new IAM platforms and technologies, with a strong understanding of core IAM principles rather than reliance on a specific product.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, analysing, and reconciling identity and access data, as well as supporting reporting requirements.
  • Experience with C#/.NET is preferred for scripting, troubleshooting, and developing custom integrations.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages and APIs, including PowerShell and REST/JSON, with an understanding of audit and compliance requirements.
