Build Up is looking for an experienced Freelance Exhibition Project Manager to join our team for upcoming large-scale exhibition projects across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

We are looking for a hands-on project manager with strong experience in the exhibitions, exhibition design & build, pavilion who can independently manage projects from initial planning through final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale exhibition projects from planning to final delivery
• Coordinate with clients, designers, technical teams, production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Manage project schedules, budgets, costing, and cost control
• Coordinate production and fabrication activities
• Review and coordinate technical drawings and project requirements
• Manage site installation, build-up, execution, dismantling, and handover
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
• Manage multiple stakeholders and resolve site/project challenges effectively

Required Experience

• Minimum 7 years of relevant project management experience
• Strong hands-on experience in large-scale exhibitions, exhibition stands, pavilions, or exhibition design & build
• Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of production, fabrication, technical coordination, and site execution
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• UAE and/or Saudi Arabia exhibition project experience
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high-pressure project environments
• Must be available for freelance/project-based assignments

Preferred Background

Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working with leading exhibition or other major exhibition design-and-build companies.

Availability

Candidates who are currently freelancing, between projects, or immediately available will be prioritized.
