Role Description The Expats and Personnel role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nasr City, focused on supporting international staff and managing personnel-related activities across the school. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating recruitment and onboarding for expatriate and local staff, managing employment contracts and documentation, and serving as a primary point of contact for HR inquiries. The role involves assisting expats with relocation logistics, visas, work permits, housing and local orientation, while ensuring compliance with school policies and relevant regulations. The position also supports performance management processes, staff training coordination, and contributes to initiatives that promote staff well-being, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong human resources skills, including recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, and basic knowledge of labor regulations.
  • Experience in expat support or international HR, such as handling visas, work permits, relocation logistics, and cross-cultural integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, manage sensitive information, and address staff concerns professionally.
  • Organizational and administrative abilities, including accurate record-keeping, attention to detail, and proficiency with HR or office software tools.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work under time constraints.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a school or educational environment, especially with international staff, is highly beneficial.
  • Fluency in English and strong written communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
