(Experienced) Operations Control Centre Train Running Controller

Experienced Train Running Controller – The role requires experienced Operations Control Centre professionals with demonstrable commercial experience controlling freight and/or mixed traffic railways under ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 signaling principles. Successful candidates will demonstrate an exemplary operational safety record, sound professional judgement and the ability to manage complex railway operations, degraded working and operational incidents within a modern Operations Control Centre.

Operations Control Centre initially in support of Company's Operational Readiness Program through participation in Operations Control Centre development, Rule Book validation, operational procedure development, ETCS Level 2 operational validation, timetable verification, Testing & Commissioning, simulator exercises, route familiarization and operational trials ahead of commercial operations.

As part of the founding Operations Control Centre cohort, the role contributes experienced railway operations control expertise to the development, validation and implementation of Company's Operations Control Centre, operational procedures, competence framework and ETCS Level 2 operating philosophy.

Prior to commercial operations, the role will actively participate in Operational Readiness activities including Testing & Commissioning, operational scenario validation, degraded mode exercises, Rule Book verification, simulator training, route familiarization and integrated operational trials across the UAE-Oman railway.

Following Entry into Service, the role will safely regulate and control freight and passenger train movements from the Operations Control Centre in accordance with the Company Rule Book, operational procedures and ETCS Level 2 operating principles.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the establishment of Company's long-term Operations Control Centre Competence Management Framework through mentoring, coaching, knowledge transfer and the development of local operational capability.
