Job Description

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Expert Cloud Engineer specializing in Hyperscaler Cloud Platforms, with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The successful candidate will design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise cloud environments while delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions for managed services clients.

This role combines deep cloud engineering expertise with strong consulting capabilities to help clients modernize infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and improve operational efficiency through cloud-native technologies and best practices.

Key Accountabilities

Design, implement, and manage enterprise cloud solutions across OCI, OCVS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
Build secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures aligned with business objectives.
Develop cloud landing zones, reference architectures, and deployment standards.
Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and operational best practices.
Manage day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring service availability, reliability, and performance.
Perform cloud provisioning, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
Support cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and workload optimization.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and act as an escalation point for critical incidents.
Conduct cloud assessments to identify opportunities for performance improvements and cost optimization.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation using Terraform, scripting, and cloud-native services.
Optimize resource utilization, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Develop operational standards and automation processes to improve service delivery.
Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, networking, encryption, and governance frameworks.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud solutions.
Deliver technical workshops, architecture sessions, and cloud enablement programs.
Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on cloud technologies and best practices.
Stay current with emerging cloud services, platform enhancements, and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent hyperscaler certifications.

Minimum Experience

8+ years of experience in enterprise cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cloud consulting.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
