The Export Sales Account Manager (CIS _ RUSSIA _ BALKAM EASE ASIA NORTH AFRICA) will drive revenue growth and establish strategic partnerships in international markets within the Food & Beverages industry. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new export opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in export regulations and market dynamics to ensure successful product penetration and brand awareness on a global scale. The position plays a key role in supporting FCG's global expansion strategy while ensuring full adherence to Egyptian export regulations, Central Bank foreign currency requirements, international trade agreements, and destination market food safety and labeling standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute regional export sales strategies aligned with company growth targets.
- identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors and key accounts in strategic markets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to optimize pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure all export activities comply with destination country regulations and Egyptian export laws.
- Manage and grow existing distributor relationships through structured business reviews and joint business plans
- Negotiate annual contracts, pricing structures, rebate programs, and credit terms in coordination with Finance.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, sell-through data, and promotional execution
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve commercial or operational issues promptly.
- Oversee export process from order confirmation to shipment completion.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation including: Certificate of Origin (COO) / EUR1 / Bill of Lading (B/L) / Health and phytosanitary certificates
- Coordinate with Export Logistics, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time shipment and cold chain integrity.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines to monitor freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
- Ensure compliance with customs clearance requirements and export control regulations.
- Represent FCG at international trade exhibitions (Anuga, SIAL, PLMA, Gulfood, Fancy Food Show, etc.).
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop region-specific promotional materials, packaging adaptations, and product samples.
- Build networks with export councils, chambers of commerce, and government trade offices.
- Prepare rolling sales forecasts aligned with production capacity and seasonal raw material availability.
- Conduct periodic pricing reviews considering raw material cost, FX fluctuation, freight rates, and market competitiveness.
- Monitor currency fluctuations and assess impact on gross margin and contribution profitability.
- Recommend product mix or packaging adjustments based on regional market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Production Planning to align export demand with manufacturing schedules.
- Coordinate with Finance on payment terms, LC requirements, and collection follow-up.
- Ensure export forecasts are integrated into overall company supply planning.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or Food Science.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of export sales experience in FMCG or frozen food manufacturing (potatoes, vegetables, ready-to-cook).
- Proven experience managing distributors in Europe, North America, GCC, or North Africa.
- Strong knowledge of: Cold chain logistics / Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, CFR, DDP) / EU & FDA labeling regulations / Private label programs (Retail & HORECA) / Export documentation (COO, EUR1, B/L, Health Certificates)
- Familiarity with trade agreements (EgyptEU, COMESA, GAFTA, USMCA where applicable).
- Fluent in English (mandatory); French or Spanish is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
