Job Description

Exports Sales Lead

Role Overview

This role sits within Sales but operates effectively as a Program Manager for the exports business. The person owns the end-to-end export sales motion — building and running a book of export-dealer relationships, closing volume deals, and coordinating across functions to fulfil them. They work with Financing and Insurance where relevant to structure deals, and coordinate closely with Procurement to source the right vehicles from the appropriate B2B channels to meet export demand. Success in this role depends heavily on an existing, credible network among export dealers in the UAE and the wider region, backed by proven prior experience in vehicle exports.

Key Expectations

  • Leverage and grow an existing network of export dealers in the UAE / region into a live, revenue-generating pipeline from day one.
  • Own outcomes across the full deal lifecycle — from prospecting and relationship-building to negotiation and close.
  • Act as the connective tissue between functions — coordinating with Procurement to source the right vehicles from the appropriate B2B channels to meet export demand.
  • Work with Financing and Insurance to structure competitive, deal-ready offers where applicable.
  • Drive consistent volume of export deals while protecting margin per deal.

Job Requirements

  • A strong, established network among export dealers in the UAE and the wider region — this is a core requirement, not a plus.
  • Proven, relevant prior experience in vehicle exports / export sales — with a demonstrable track record of closed volume.
  • 4–7 years in B2B / export / corporate vehicle sales or a closely related field.
  • Program-management instinct: comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and moving parts to a deadline.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills across dealer relationships of varying size.
  • Commercial acumen — understands margins, financing, insurance, and export economics well enough to structure deals.
  • Self-starter who can operate with ambiguity and help build a function, not just run an existing playbook.
  • Familiarity with UAE export processes, documentation, and regional demand corridors.

Key Verticals to Support

  • Sales – export dealer sales facilitation.
  • Financing & Insurance – deal structuring and closing support where applicable.
  • Procurement – sourcing vehicles from the appropriate B2B channels to meet export demand.
  • Operations – export documentation, logistics, and fulfilment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Pipeline

  • Activate and expand an existing network of export dealers across the UAE and region.
  • Mine past / dormant export leads and re-activate them into live buyers.
  • Identify new export corridors, dealers, and channels through outreach and referrals.

Sales & Deal Closing

  • Negotiate and close volume export deals across dealer relationships of varying size.
  • Build long-term, repeat relationships rather than one-off transactions.
  • Work with Financing and Insurance to structure competitive offers where applicable.

Procurement Coordination

  • Coordinate with Procurement to source the right vehicles from the appropriate B2B channels to meet export demand.

Fulfilment

  • Coordinate export documentation, logistics, and delivery to ensure smooth fulfilment.

KPIs

  • Export deals – volume of export deals closed against monthly / quarterly targets.
  • New accounts – new dealer accounts unlocked that convert into consistent, repeat sales (not one-off).
  • Re-activation – number of dormant / older accounts re-activated into live buyers.
  • TAT – reservation-to-delivery turnaround time.
  • Reservation-to-delivery % – percentage of reservations that convert through to delivery.
  • Margin per deal – margin earned per deal, net of financing, insurance, and sourcing cost.
  • VAS revenue per car – value-added services revenue per car (financing, insurance, add-ons).

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6–12 months, this person has converted their export-dealer network into a repeatable, high-volume export engine — a live pipeline feeding a steady flow of closed deals at healthy margin. Dormant accounts are re-activated, new corridors are opened, and Procurement, Financing, and Operations work with them as a tight unit so deals move quickly and fulfil cleanly. They are seen internally as the program owner for exports: someone whose network, credibility, and execution turn export demand into recurring revenue.
