Job Summary:
The International Business Development Manager will lead global OEM sales expansion for refrigeration and appliance components. This role focuses on securing long-term international supply agreements, penetrating new export markets, and strengthening the company's presence through strategic exhibitions and global client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute international growth strategies targeting OEM appliance manufacturers.
- Secure new long-term supply agreements for wire-on-tube condensers, bundy tubes, and rubber components.
- Manage and expand relationships with global refrigerator and appliance manufacturing factories.
- Identify and approach procurement and engineering departments within OEM organizations.
- Lead pricing negotiations, contract discussions, and annual supply agreement finalizations.
- Monitor global raw material trends (steel, copper, rubber) to support pricing and margin strategies.
- Identify and recommend high-impact international exhibitions and trade fairs in refrigeration and home appliances.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions and B2B events.
- Prepare export sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and international market analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with OEM technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English (mandatory written and spoken). Additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Turkish are a plus.
- Strong industrial sales experience may substitute for formal technical education.
- 10+ years of experience in international B2B industrial sales.
- Proven track record of closing OEM supply agreements.
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, home appliances, or industrial components is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage long B2B sales cycles.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with procurement and engineering teams.
- Experience handling OEM RFQs and technical-commercial proposals.
- Understanding of refrigeration and home appliance supply chains.
- Knowledge of wire-on-tube condensers, bundy tubes, or industrial components (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (basic to intermediate level).
- Strong costing, pricing, and margin calculation skills.
- Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.).
- Familiarity with international contracts and payment methods (LC, TT).
- Understanding of export documentation and logistics processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pricing models, margin sheets).
- Professional email and communication tools proficiency.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally (3050%).
- Ability to work closely with engineering and production teams.
