About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Exterior Designer to join our onsite team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility and technical proficiency in industry-standard software. You will be responsible for creating compelling exterior design concepts, developing detailed drawings, and producing high-quality visualizations that bring architectural visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Concept Development
- Develop creative exterior design concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations for client approval.
- Ensure designs align with client briefs, local regulations, and industry best practices.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
- Produce accurate architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with interior designers, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
3D Modeling & Visualization
- Create detailed 3D models using SketchUp and Revit.
- Produce photorealistic renderings and walkthrough animations using Lumion.
- Develop high-quality presentation graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for client and stakeholder presentations.
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other designers to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in site visits to assess conditions and ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
- Incorporate feedback from clients and internal teams to refine designs.
Quality Control & Standards
- Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest exterior design trends, materials, and technologies in the KSA market.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in exterior design (portfolio required).
- Software Proficiency (Mandatory):
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Adobe Illustrator
- SketchUp
- Lumion
- Photoshop
Preferred
- Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
- Knowledge of local building codes and municipal approval processes in Jeddah.
- Experience with additional software (e.g., 3ds Max, Rhino, InDesign).
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) – strong advantage but not mandatory.
