About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing team in Alexandria, Egypt. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements, manage audit teams, ensure compliance with professional standards, and contribute to delivering high-quality services to clients, including Saudi-based engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Supervise, coach, and develop audit teams to ensure high-quality performance.
- Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports.
- Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Identify business risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the audit practice.
- Ensure audit documentation complies with internal quality control policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 10+ years of experience in External Audit.
- 3+ years of experience in an Audit Manager role.
- Previous experience with a Big Four or Top 10 accounting firm is highly preferred.
- Experience serving Saudi-based clients or working with Saudi audit firms is preferred.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA is required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
