F&B Procurement Project Senior Associate

We are currently seeking a F&B Procurement Projects Senior Associate who will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing end-to-end procurement projects within the Food & Beverage category. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project delivery within the F&B or hospitality industry.

Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest semi-government organisations in the region. This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives within the F&B category to deliver cost optimization and process improvements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate procurement requirements into actionable sourcing plans.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations to ensure operational excellence.

Support the development and implementation of tendering processes, RFQs, and contract lifecycle management.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation within procurement processes to achieve efficiency gains.

Partner with finance and internal teams to streamline end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.

Monitor sourcing KPIs, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and manage budgets and spend targets.

Stay abreast of market trends and recommend new strategies for sourcing and supplier innovation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CIPS or Project Management are an advantage.

35 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in Food & Beverage sourcing.

Proven track record in project management for large-scale or high-value procurement projects.

Strong understanding of contracts, legal terminology, and supplier negotiations.

Experience in F&B supply, catering, or hospitality procurement preferred.

Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to lead and guide procurement teams while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
