Job Summary
The Fabricator is responsible for fabrication, assembly, and installation of
metal structures, piping, and components according to drawings and specifications, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and isometric sketches.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and fit metal parts using hand tools and machines.
- Fabricate structural steel, piping spools, frames, and supports.
- Perform tack welding and assist welders during fabrication.
- Measure, mark, and align components accurately.
- Ensure quality standards and minimize rework.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Maintain tools and work area in good condition.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Fabrication, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
Experience
- Minimum 36 years of experience as Fabricator.
- Experience in oil & gas, industrial, or heavy fabrication projects preferred.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of fabrication tools and techniques.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Good measurement and fitting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
