Job Description

All successful applicants must be willing to undergo enhanced child protection screening appropriate to the post, including various background checks including, receipt of high-quality references, proof of relevant qualifications, identification and police checks, including overseas checks. No member of staff will be able to start until these checks are complete and this process takes, on average, a month.

The postholder will lead all aspects of campus operations, ensuring our buildings and grounds are safe, compliant, sustainable, and well‑presented at all times.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Facilities Management or similar role, ideally in an educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Health & Safety regulations and authority compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing contractors, maintenance teams, and external providers.

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Good financial awareness in managing R&M budgets.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Attributes:

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing emergencies calmly.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
