Job Purpose
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements and company standards. The role coordinates maintenance activities, manages service requests, liaises with clients and service providers, and supports compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
This position has the authority to:
- Prioritize and coordinate daily facility service requests.
- Assign routine maintenance work to contractors or in-house teams within approved procedures.
- Escalate operational issues that impact service delivery.
- Monitor contractor performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify completion of work orders before closing them.
- Recommend improvements to facility operations and service delivery.
Knowledge Required
- Facilities Management principles and best practices.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Vendor and contractor management.
- Customer service principles.
What you will bring
- 2–5 years of experience in Facilities Management or Building Operations.
- Experience in coordinating soft and hard FM services is preferred.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
