Responsibilities:
- System maintenance:Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Project management:Oversee the installation, renovation, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Staff and contractor management:Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians and coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
- Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve technical problems with facility systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Safety and compliance:Ensure all work and systems comply with safety regulations and local codes.
- Reporting and documentation:Maintain records of maintenance activities and report on performance to management.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or a related field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a facilities engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
