Responsibilities
- Fulfill contractual obligations for a full instructional load during each study semester and term.
- Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations of student.
- Develop course materials including lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, tests, course handouts, and presentations.
- Conduct teaching in accordance with University requirements (taking attendance, grading, preparing student material).
- Conduct Assessment as outlined in course syllabus and guided by Program Director.
- Prepare required course documentations.
- Support students learning and advise students to achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in program reviews, curriculum development and research activities.
Qualifications
- Possess an earned terminal degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Math Science or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3-5 years UAE teaching experience at the university level or equivalent professional training experience.
- Clear evidence of effective classroom management and pedagogical delivery for quantitative courses.
- Deep subject matter expertise in foundational mathematics (Calculus, Discrete Math).
- Practical knowledge of modern statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse, multi-cultural academic and student community.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Proven track records in effective teaching, class management and course delivery and leadership.
