JOB SUMMARY
The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Prince Sultan
University aims to provide world-class education in Computing, Information
Systems, and Engineering for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
The College offers Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information
Systems, Bachelor of Software Engineering, Master of Software Engineering,
and Master of Cybersecurity programs. The Bachelor of Computer Science,
Information Systems, and Software Engineering programs are ABET
accredited.
The College of Computer and Information Sciences is seeking applicants with
the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor for the
first semester of the next academic year 2025/2026, which starts on
August 10th , 2025.
The candidate is expected to teach courses in the domains of Computer
Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity.
Computer Sciences (CS): Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, HCI,
Visualization, Algorithms and Theory, Systems, Graphics, and
Computer Vision.
Software Engineering (SE): SW Requirements Engineering, Design and
Architecture, Quality Assurance and Testing, SW Construction, SW
Maintenance, SW Project Management, and Cybersecurity.
Information Systems (IS): Digital Transformation, Enterprise
Architecture, Business Process Management, Web Development, and
Business Analytics.
A suitable candidate would demonstrate:
PhD Degree in one of the above four specializations (CS/SE/IS) or
equivalent from an accredited university.
Quality teaching.
A track record of or potential to, secure external funding and produce
high-quality research.
A track record of, or evidence of potential to, publish in leading
international peer-reviewed journals (ISI and Scopus Q1, Q2).
Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research
students.
The ability to develop new areas of the curriculum should the need
arise.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate
level, conduct research, supervise student work, and engage in academic
scholarship and administrative work for the college and the community.
