Fashion Designer Abayas

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop abaya collections in line with the brand's identity and current modest fashion trends.
• Select suitable fabrics, materials, colors, and decorative details for each design.
• Create sketches and develop design concepts using hand sketches and/or digital design tools.
• Coordinate with factories and tailors throughout the sampling and production process.
• Review samples, fitting, and patterns, ensuring proper fit, proportions, and comfort.
• Monitor production quality and ensure final products match the approved designs.
• Coordinate customer-requested alterations and follow up on modifications until the final piece is completed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong fashion design skills with experience in abaya or modest wear design.
• Knowledge of textiles, fabric selection, embroidery, and garment construction.
• Experience in fitting, sample development, and pattern adjustments.
• Proficiency in hand sketching and/or digital design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or fashion CAD software.
• Portfolio showcasing abaya or modest wear designs is required.
