Fashion Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to develop original fashion concepts and translate creative ideas into commercially relevant collections. The role involves researching trends, developing designs, selecting fabrics and materials, preparing technical specifications, and collaborating with relevant teams throughout the product development process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing creative concepts, collections, and individual fashion designs aligned with brand identity and market trends.
• Conducting research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, materials, and consumer preferences.
• Creating sketches, mood boards, design presentations, and technical drawings.
• Selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, patterns, and other materials for each design.
• Preparing detailed specifications, measurements, and design information for product development.
• Collaborating with pattern makers, sample makers, production teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing samples and providing design feedback to ensure consistency with the intended concept and quality standards.
• Maintaining organized records of designs, materials, specifications, and collection development.
• Staying informed about emerging fashion trends, technologies, sustainable materials, and industry developments.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of fashion design principles, garment construction, textiles, color, proportion, and styling.
• Strong creative, conceptual, and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency in fashion design and illustration tools, with knowledge of software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent programs.
• Ability to create clear fashion sketches, technical drawings, mood boards, and design presentations.
• Good understanding of fabrics, garment details, construction techniques, and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate creative concepts into practical designs.
• Good awareness of current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.
• Creative mindset, strong aesthetic judgment, and willingness to explore new ideas and techniques.
