About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, patterns, and customer preferences.
- Develop creative concepts and tickpack designs aligned with brand vision.
- Source and evaluate fabric suppliers to ensure quality and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with employees and oversee the design process from concept to execution.
- Ensure designs are aligned with current GCC market demands and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fashion design, preferably with abayas.
- Strong knowledge of GCC fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Ability to create patterns, technical packs, and fabric selections.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for fashion design and attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in fashion design, specifically focusing on Abaya and high-end modest wear.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics, garment construction, and embroidery techniques. Ability to create patterns, technical packs, and fabric selections.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating successful collections and innovative design concepts.
- Language: Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GCC fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for fashion design and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in branding and product development.
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.
