Role Description

The Bridal Fashion Designer is responsible for creating exclusive, high-end bridal couture designs that embody elegance, innovation, and the brand's unique identity. This role focuses on conceptualizing and developing custom-made bridal gowns, from initial sketches and fabric selection to overseeing fittings and final production, ensuring every design reflects the bride's individuality and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.

The designer will work closely with brides, the master cutter, embroidery team, and the tailoring team to deliver personalized, flawless designs that align with client preferences and current luxury bridal trends. The role demands exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of haute couture techniques, ensuring each gown represents a perfect balance between modern sophistication and timeless elegance.

Duties:

Actively involved in new concept development.

Creating and presenting design sketches and/or mini mannequins in accordance with the collection theme and concept.

Creating new and progressive designs that comply with the latest trends.

Creating new sample options.

Prepare and organize the required material and samples for the dress.

Responsible for overseeing the dress development from start to finish.

Ensuring high quality and standards are met at all stages.

Continually checking the schedules of dresses are achieved to ensure timely delivery.

Responsible for own team of Hand embroiders, Machine embroiders, and tailors.

Creating new sample options

Continual awareness of current fashion trends and developments by researching, learning, attending fashion trends, and involvement with the Haute Couture network

Requirements:

Degree in Fashion Design

5 Years + work experience in a high-end haute couture bridal company

Excellent knowledge of fabrics and embroidery

Knowledge of fabric falls and compatibility with the design

Skills Requirement:

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work well in a multi-cultured environment

Ability to perform under a high pressured environment

Desire to learn and able to act on constructive criticism

Good quality control
