Are you a highly specialized finance professional with a mastery of Saudi regulatory reporting and tax compliance We are seeking a FATCA & Finance Specialist to spearhead our regulatory reporting, Zakat, and tax strategies. This is a critical role designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between complex financial data and the rigorous standards of SAMA and ZATCA, ensuring our institution remains at the forefront of compliance excellence.
The Role
As the FATCA & Finance Specialist, you will be the primary custodian of our regulatory integrity. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of financial reporting, from managing the complexities of FATCA/CRS to navigating the nuances of Zakat and Tax within the Saudi banking sector. You will serve as a strategic advisor on financial controls and a key point of contact for regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Reporting: Lead the preparation and timely submission of all SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) financial and regulatory reports with absolute precision.
- Tax & Zakat Oversight: Direct the calculation, filing, and optimization of Zakat and Tax returns, ensuring full alignment with ZATCA regulations.
- FATCA/CRS Governance: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for international tax compliance frameworks, maintaining robust reporting and due diligence standards.
- Financial Control: Support the wider Finance department in maintaining IFRS-compliant financial statements and internal control frameworks.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal auditors and external regulators to address inquiries and lead compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in regulatory and financial reporting within the Saudi Arabian Banking sector.
- Regulatory Mastery: Deep, hands-on knowledge of the SAMA reporting landscape and KSA financial laws.
- Tax Expertise: Proven track record in managing Zakat and Tax portfolios specifically within a banking context.
- Education & Certification: A degree in Finance or Accounting is required. Professional certifications such as SOCPA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
- Language: Professional fluency in English and Arabic is essential for navigating local regulations and international reporting requirements.
