We are looking for an experienced
fertilizer market analyst who will help our company make strategic decisions based on data, forecasts, and a deep understanding of the global agrochemical industry. You will be responsible for monitoring price dynamics, analyzing supply chains, and assessing the impact of macroeconomic factors on the fertilizer market (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium).
Responsibilities:
- Market Monitoring: Collecting and systematizing data on the production, consumption, export, and import of fertilizers in key regions of the world
- Price Analysis: Tracking quotes for raw materials (natural gas, sulfur, phosphates) and finished products, identifying trends and causes of volatility
- Forecasting: Preparing short- and long-term supply and demand forecasts. Developing market scenarios for management
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitoring the activities of key industry players and analyzing their investment programs and production capacities
- Reporting: Creating regular analytical notes, presentations (dashboards), and reports for internal stakeholders
- Data Handling: Working with large datasets, building econometric models, and visualizing data for decision-making
Requirements
- Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an analyst in agriculture, the chemical industry, or commodity markets
- Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, Agronomy, or Mathematical Methods in Economics
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the fertilizer industry (logistics specificities, seasonality, dependence on energy prices)
- Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel at an expert level, SQL, BI systems like Tableau or Power BI)
- Skills in building mathematical models and forecasting
Languages: Fluency in English and Russian
