About YDS Design Studio

YDS Design Studio is a Dubai based luxury interior design studio specializing in high end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. We are looking for a talented and detail oriented FF&E Specialist / Designer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, extensive knowledge of luxury furniture brands, materials, and finishes, and proven experience in furniture selection, procurement, and styling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop FF&E concepts, furniture selections, and styling proposals aligned with the overall design vision.

• Source furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, accessories, and decorative elements from local and international suppliers.

• Prepare comprehensive FF&E schedules, specifications, furniture layouts, and procurement documentation.

• Create professional furniture presentations, mood boards, and material selection boards.

• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations, samples, technical specifications, and lead times.

• Manage FF&E budgets, ensuring selections meet project requirements and client expectations.

• Coordinate custom furniture design, shop drawings, finishes, and production with manufacturers.

• Work closely with the interior design and visualization teams to ensure FF&E selections are accurately reflected in project presentations and renders.

• Oversee furniture procurement, delivery, installation, and final styling to ensure successful project completion.

• Maintain and expand the studio's library of luxury furniture brands, suppliers, and decorative accessories.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in FF&E design, furniture selection, and procurement.

• Proven experience working on luxury residential and hospitality projects.

• Strong knowledge of international furniture brands, luxury finishes, lighting, textiles, and decorative accessories.

• Established relationships with furniture suppliers and manufacturers in the UAE and internationally.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent presentation skills and a strong understanding of furniture proportions, materials, and design aesthetics.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and procurement schedules independently.

• Strong communication, organization, and supplier coordination skills.

• Previous experience working in a luxury interior design studio in Dubai is preferred.
