An FF&E Interior Designer must be knowledgeable in materials, FF&E. Has the understanding of new trends and latest in the industry. With wide connections to supplier and manufacturer chain.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop FF&E concepts aligned with the project's design vision and client brief.
Assist the lead designer to prepare for design presentation and documentation packages.
Able to design and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details.
Source and specify furniture, fabrics, finishes, accessories, lighting, artwork, and other decorative elements.
Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, mood boards, sample presentations, and material boards for client approval.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples, pricing and lead times.
Able to support design team with layout planning, material selection, and presentation materials.
Able to select that meet quality, functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of FF&E with overall design intent.
Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment.
Able to be at the trends that may influence FF&E design scheme.
Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
5+ years of experience in FF&E design, preferably within the Middle East.
Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and materials.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and .Studio.
Excellent visual presentation and material board skills.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
A keen eye for detail, materials, and design trends, especially in hospitality projects.
