Job Summary:
The FF&E/ Sales Engineer will bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales acumen, playing a key role in client engagement, project execution, and after-sales support. The candidate will be responsible for understanding product intricacies, communicating value propositions to potential clients, and ensuring seamless project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement & Sales Execution:
- Conduct site visits to understand client technical requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, incorporating technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, overseeing all product-related payments.
2. Technical Design & Project Management:
- Develop innovative proposals aligned with client needs and industry standards.
- Create and revise detailed FF&E specifications, including material selection and product sourcing.
- Produce mood boards and 3D visualizations to support project presentations.
- Ensure that design concepts align with budget constraints and practical feasibility.
- Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
3. Documentation & Coordination:
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including CAD drawings and site development plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all project specifications and material selections.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and furniture.
4. Installation & After-Sales Support:
- Supervise project installation, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct post-installation inspections and address any client concerns or technical issues.
- Provide proactive after-sales support to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or technical roles related to FF&E, furniture design, or interior architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, 3D rendering tools, and other design applications.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of FF&E products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to provide innovative and functional design solutions.
- Multitasking: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
