Job Summary

The FF&E Business Accountant is responsible for managing financial operations related to Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) projects and procurement activities. The role supports project teams by ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost tracking, budgeting, and compliance with company policies and Saudi financial regulations.

The position requires strong understanding of project accounting, procurement transactions, supplier payments, cost control, and financial reporting related to fit-out and FF&E projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Financial Management
  • Monitor and manage financial transactions related to FF&E projects.
  • Track project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
  • Prepare project financial reports and cost analysis.
  • Support project managers in monitoring project profitability and financial performance.
2. Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
  • Track and control procurement costs, logistics expenses, installation costs, and project variations.
  • Analyze actual costs versus project budgets and identify variances.
  • Provide financial insights to management for cost optimization and decision-making.
  • Monitor project cash flow and payment schedules.
3. Accounts Payable & Supplier Payments
  • Process and verify supplier invoices related to FF&E procurement.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to validate purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Manage vendor payment schedules and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.
4. Revenue & Client Billing
  • Support preparation of client invoices and progress billing for FF&E projects.
  • Monitor project billing schedules and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Track collections and outstanding receivables.
  • Coordinate with project managers and sales teams regarding billing milestones.
5. Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, project cost reports, and management dashboards.
  • Assist in preparation of profit & loss statements related to FF&E business units.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with Saudi accounting standards and company policies.
6. Compliance & Financial Control
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi ZATCA regulations and VAT requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and financial review purposes.
  • Implement financial control procedures for procurement and project spending.
  • Support internal and external audits when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or SOCPA is an advantage.
Experience
  • 37 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction, fit-out, furniture, or FF&E industries.
  • Experience with project accounting and cost control.
  • Familiarity with Saudi financial regulations and VAT systems.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in:
  • ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho, etc.)
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced financial analysis)
  • Financial reporting tools
  • Understanding of procurement and supply chain financial processes.
