Job Summary
The FF&E Specialist is responsible for the selection, specification, procurement, and coordination of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for interior design and fit-out projects. The role ensures that all FF&E elements align with the project design intent, budget, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop FF&E concepts, specifications, and schedules in coordination with the design team
- Research, select, and recommend FF&E items that meet design, functional, and budget requirements
- Prepare detailed FF&E specifications, data sheets, and material submittals
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors for pricing, lead times, and samples
- Manage procurement processes including quotations, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements
- Review shop drawings and samples for approval
- Coordinate FF&E installation and resolve site-related issues
- Monitor budgets and support value engineering when required
- Maintain updated FF&E databases and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of FF&E materials, suppliers, and market trends
- Experience in FF&E specification and procurement for commercial or residential projects
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design software is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
