Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fiber Technician based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Fiber Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic and cabling systems. Day-to-day tasks include handling cable management, performing diagnostics and repairs, ensuring optimal system performance, and adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Cables and Cabling systems
• Expertise in fiber optics, including installation, maintenance, and testing
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for fiber and cabling systems
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to fiber and cable work
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently in an on-site setting
• Previous experience in fiber optic or ELV/ICT systems is preferred
• Relevant certifications or training in fiber optics and cabling are advantageous
