Job Description

Field Service Manager

The Field Service Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all quality aspects of the company's construction projects, from pre-contract through to final account. This includes quality control, document control, EHS, and risk management. The Field Service Manager will lead and develop the team, ensuring projects are delivered archived, on spec, and safely, while maintaining strong client relationships and upholding contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

1. Develop and implement quality and safety strategies that align with business objectives.

2. Lead, mentor, and develop the Field Service team.

3. Drive continuous improvement in commercial performance and efficiency.

Quality Control:

1. Assign the QC Team for the projects.

2. Approving the Project Quality Plan.

3. Receive & review QC monthly reports.

4. Monitor & evaluate the performance of the QC team.

5. Assign FAT Team.

6. Review FAT Report if required.

7. Review consolidated reports of NCRs

Document Control:

1. Establishing a procedural framework for identifying, collecting, distributing, and filing controlled documents to ensure that processes comply with the company's standards.

2. Ensure the information and management control system is implemented in compliance with the client's standard and is updated to reflect revisions to those standards.

3. Managing, maintaining, and updating the document control department procedure.

4. Perform periodic performance appraisals for the DC team in coordination with the company's standards as well as manage the document control operation.

5. Coordinating with all Department Managers to ensure the application of information management procedures and systems.

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS):

1. Design, develop, and implement the company's overall EHS strategy, aligning it with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

2. Create, revise, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and manuals.

3. Develop and manage the EHS department budget, ensuring adequate resources for training, equipment, inspections, and other EHS initiatives.

4. Drive a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance.

5. Ensure Regulatory Compliance.

6. Lead comprehensive risk assessments for all construction activities, from pre-construction planning to project completion.

7. Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.

8. Develop and manage a robust program for EHS audits and inspections across all construction sites.

9. Prepare and present regular EHS performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

10. Act as a champion for safety, fostering a strong EHS culture throughout the organization.

11. Develop and manage a robust program for EHS audits and inspections across all construction sites.

12. Develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

13. Prepare and present regular EHS performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, a master's degree, or an MBA would be highly desirable.

Experience:

A. Proven experience in quality management, Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the construction industry, with a significant portion in a leadership role, particularly in EHS and Document Control.

B. Proven experience specifically in Quality Control, Document Control, and EHS functions.

C. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.

Certifications:

A. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a must.

B. Additional certifications in EHS Function.

Skills:

A. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

B. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

C. A proactive approach to risk management and mitigation planning.

D. Leadership qualities to guide and encourage your team.
